On this excursion we take you to 2 of the most beautiful and well-known islands of the Yucatan peninsula: Isla Contoy and Isla Mujeres. Isla Contoy is a national park and a protected natural area since it is a very important point of refuge and nesting for seabirds. It is a beautiful Caribbean island north of Cancun with spectacular beaches, which being a protected area, has as its only construction a small museum where the beauty of its flora and fauna is exposed. Its great biodiversity makes it a magnificent place for sighting seabirds such as the frigate, pelicans, cormorants, herons, terns, and much more.

Boarding one of our speedboats, large and comfortable, we will take you to this heavenly place in 40 min. Shortly before reaching the island, we stop at the reef that forms in the south of the island to jump into the water and enjoy a colorful 40-minute snorkel (optional) at the beginning of the second largest coral reef in the world , the Mesoamerican reef barrier.

After snorkeling the island is 10 minutes away. Enjoying the wonderful view, we disembark at the dock of one of the island's beaches where a small bay forms with crystal clear and calm waters, like a natural pool! The guides will invite you on a 30-minute walking tour of the island (optional) to visit the museum, an internal lagoon where various species of birds nest, trails that take you to see the opposite side of the island and climb the tower to appreciate the incredible panoramic view of Contoy.

Lunch is what comes next, we prepare some delicious fish a la Tikin Xic, which is a traditional Yucatecan recipe, grilled chicken, guacamole, salad, bread and seasonal fruits. Throughout the day on the boat we have water and soft drinks available, and once the snorkeling is over also beers. After lunch we will rest on the beaches of the island for 1:30 hours where you can sunbathe, swim in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean or play with the friendly rays.

Then we will leave for Isla Mujeres, a charming island with a lot of history. We will descend for an hour in the picturesque center of the island where we will be able to walk its streets and shop for 1 hour, and then take the boat back to the Punta Sam pier in Cancun around 16:00.
